Transportation plays a crucial role in connecting people to goods and services, and provides opportunities for social and economic progress. It is important that in the search for solutions and innovations in the last mile sector, the process becomes more sustainable and therefore requires a comprehensive analysis that serves as a basis for the approach of actions and public policies that achieve a transition to a sustainable and efficient system.

The objective of this technical assistance was to strengthen the capacities of the Ministry of Public Works and Transportation of El Salvador on the regulation of urban last-mile logistics in the country, including contributions that can serve as a basis for the development of technical guidelines and recommendations for this sector.
