The Consortium of Provincial Governments of Ecuador (CONGOPE), together with other organizations, has promoted the project “Circular Future: towards a sustainable production and consumption model for Ecuador”. The project promotes sustainable local development focused on a circular economy with initiatives that are more accessible to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs).

The purpose of this technical assistance was to develop and implement circular economy strategies – based on a diagnosis, benchmarking and roadmap – for Ecuador’s agricultural, fishing and tourism sectors, with a focus on MSMEs.
