Boosting Sustainable Mobility: Roadmap for Valdivia’s Electric Bus Infrastructure
Chile has committed to multiple international agreements (Paris Agreement and SDGs of the 2030 Agenda) in order to address the impacts of climate change, with decarbonization and sustainable development being key parts. In this regard, innovative actions have been initiated, including transformation in the transport sector. Electromobility has become the vanguard of decarbonization efforts in urban mobility.
The objective of this technical assistance was to establish a roadmap for the strategic development, implementation and start-up of the first public access charging center in Valdivia (Chile), in order to create the conditions for the transformation of the diesel bus fleet to electric.
