After 10 years, Peru has increased its waste volume from 13,000 tons/day to 18,000 tons/day in a context where 50% of waste is not properly disposed of. In line with the ambitious goals established by the country in its Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC), the aim is to contribute to the proper management of urban and rural solid waste in order to meet the commitments to reduce total GHG emissions and increase resilience to the impacts of climate change.
