The development of sustainable urban mobility systems is one of the main lines of action within the National Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation Plan. The objective of this technical assistance was to prepare a Roadmap 2030, providing the necessary tools to the National Secretary of Transportation to promote this transformation policy. The roadmap proposes a series of instruments and actions so that the 82 most populated urban areas of the country have a Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (SUMP) designed, approved and in the implementation stage.
