Introduction:
This event will bring together a broad spectrum of participants, including renowned experts, policymakers, industry leaders, and environmental advocates. The panel will explore the latest developments in carbon accounting practices, share insights on overcoming current challenges, and discuss innovative strategies for improving transparency and accuracy in emissions reporting. By fostering a collaborative environment, this panel aims to generate actionable solutions and drive progress in the global efforts to mitigate climate change and achieve sustainability goals.
Objectives:
- Encourage students, young professionals, and IEEE members to actively engage in global efforts to combat climate change.
- Investigate cooperative approaches and effective practices to advance sustainable development initiatives.
- Disseminate insights and viewpoints from industry executives, academic authorities, and representatives of international organizations on how various sectors can adapt to meet climate goals and sustainability demands.
- Promote a cross-disciplinary exchange among key players on climate action, sustainability, and sustainable development, with a focus on the integration and practical application of technological innovations.
