The Transport Emissions Evaluation Models for Projects (TEEMP)

9am, October 02nd, 2015

The Transport Emissions Evaluation Models for Projects (TEEMP) consists of a suite of Excel-based spreadsheet models that may be used to evaluate the greenhouse gas and air pollution impacts of many types of transportation projects, primarily at the local government level.

The TEEMP tools are sketch models which enable the estimation of emissions in both ‘project’ and ‘no-project’ scenarios and can be used for evaluating short to long term impacts of projects.

Key questions addressed:

  • What is the impact of transport projects on CO2 emissions?

Sample data inputs:

  • Local transport sector data, including the number, type, fuel, emissions factor, and efficiency of the existing fleet

Sample quantitative outputs:

  • CO2/emissions savings and associated costs
